About Us
Our major current export markets
are Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
We also supply locally
here in Australia.
The abalone are harvested by our own diver and brought to the surface
in net bags. They are sorted, measured, washed and finally shelled and
gutted. The abalone are stored in a water and ice slurry. At the end of
the day they are unloaded on-shore and transported for processing.
All harvesting is in
the Southern Ocean waters, which are said to be the cleanest in the world.
We oversee the whole process from harvesting, through to either canning,
IQF, vacuum packing or heat sterilizing, which means we have a hands-on
knowledge of the quality of our products.
Hot Dog Fisheries have an Export Processing license and are regularly
checked by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service to ensure quality.
Our canning processors are also Export Establishments.
We can supply to importers
own labels if quantity is sufficient.
